Mountain Biking
Mountain bikers will find miles and miles of trails for all skill levels in McCall. Check out Bear Basin, Bear Pete, Gooseneck trail, Cestline, and of course Ponderosa State Park.
River Rafting
There is no better way to spend a hot day in Idaho than running the river. With Payette river and the Salmon river right here you have plenty of river to choose from! Book with an experienced local rafting outfitter that can take your small or large group out for the day or several days trip.
Hiking and Snow shoeing
Ponderosa State Park is beautiful every season of the year. With clear trails for snowshoeing in the winter or hiking in the summer.
Payette Lake
Payette Lake is a natural lake, formed by glacial activity, situated in the upper drainage basin of the Payette River, which drains into the Snake River in Southwestern Idaho. Outflow from the lake is regulated for irrigation purposes by a small dam completed in 1943.
Payette lake is the perfect spot for boating, sandy beaches and water sports. Rent a paddle board or kayak from a local outfitter.
Snowmobiling
You will never be the same after experiencing the Payette National Forest on snowmobiles. The McCall area offers groomed snowmobile trails, breathtaking bowls, and backcountry powder. McCall is one of the best areas for snowmobiling in the Northwest.
